The reported transaction value was around A$105 million. NT Government regulatory approvals were finalised on 8 October 2021, following roughly seven months of probity, licensing checks and conditions. Settlement of the sale took place on 20 October 2021.

Following that acquisition, Iris Capital outlined plans for a redevelopment program in excess of A$100 million. Their flagged projects include a new art-style hotel concept along with expanded food, beverage and entertainment options, with the public message framed around complementing the local Aboriginal art and tourism sector. The NT Liquor Commission has already signed off on material alterations to the licensed premises under the Liquor Act 2019 (NT), which tells us physical changes are either under way or close.
